Memory Page (John K Norvell Jr.)
John’s name means “a gift of God.”  He was a man of God and a strong leader, loved his family, his organization and made an impact wherever he went.  He was so proud of his family and heritage.  I thank God for John’s life.
At this year’s District Convention he was privileged to ordain our first son Jason.  In June he found out our son Justin and wife Brandi are having our grandson, Jonah, due in November.  In May he was blessed to see our baby girl, Amy, graduate high school with honors.
In December John and I would have been married 40 years.  I hardly know life without him.  Your family and friends will miss you, John.

Dear Dad,
I love you and I miss you. You have always been the best dad in the world. You always took care of me. you always came to my games (even when out of town) and you were always proud of me. You supported me, protected me, loved me and believed in me. You loved people and you made a difference in this world. I hope  people see the you in me. I’ll always be your daughter and you’ll always be my dad.

It's still so hard to believe you aren't here.  I miss being able to walk across the parking lot to come talk to you in your office.  The advice you would give was priceless.  The day that will always be stuck forever in my heart is the day that you looked me in the eyes and said, "I will never try to take the place of your dad, but I am always here and you can always come to me just like you would your dad."  I love you and miss you so much!
